A Surprising Journey

The Start of Something New

If you have read our About page on the website, then you know that our family couldn't have gotten started without the support and growth of our small business. Every dime we earned went into our IVF journey.

Jump forward to the spring of 2024, after the arrival of our little miracle, Meredith, we found ourselves in a whirlwind of joy, sleepless nights, and the occasional diaper disaster. Amidst the chaos of parenthood, we decided to channel all of that energy we had (ha) into something productive: creating a website. Not only did we aim to provide both our existing and potential customers with a space to discover our creations and explore what Ray's Cake Co. has to offer, but we also hoped that one day we could use the website to offer fun, new menu items.

The Surprise Package

Just when we thought we were on a roll with creating this website and growing our business, life threw us the best surprise of all: baby Beckett! That last bit of energy we had was now going into navigating pregnancy while chasing a one-year-old around. We started focusing on getting life ready for our newest team member to arrive. In doing so, some things got put on the back burner.

The Launch

Beckett is now 5 months old and we are out of the two under the age of two stage of our lives. While chaos still lurks around the corner every day, we have gotten settled into a good routine with both kiddos and are ready to dive back into all of the ideas we were dreaming up! This website launch may seem like a small step, but we have hopes that it will create a whole new level for our business.
